| What is It?
The Richie Smith Sweet Spot Bat is wrapped with kevlar/carbon fiber, which makes the barrel stronger than just wood.
Kevlar was developed in the early 1960's by Dupont; assuming the same weight, kevlar is literally 5 times stronger than steel.
This is why you can get thousands of swings with the Sweet Spot Bat, versus just a few hundred swings with a wood bat.
