What is It?

The Richie Smith Sweet Spot Bat is wrapped with kevlar/carbon fiber, which makes the barrel stronger than just wood. Kevlar was developed in the early 1960's by Dupont; assuming the same weight, kevlar is literally 5 times stronger than steel. This is why you can get thousands of swings with the Sweet Spot Bat, versus just a few hundred swings with a wood bat.

This is a real close up look at the grain separation and the natural process of wear & tear of wood bats.
A shorter life expectancy.

In this photo we have one used Sweet Spot Bat and two new ones… the purpose of this photo is to show you there is minimal wear on the used Sweet Spot Bat, which has well over 3000 swings on it. Just like that battery, it keeps going, and going, and going !!!!!!
